Measure the charge of very short pulse of electron bunches inside and outside a vacuum chamber. Due to electron spread in the air, sensor aperture had to be wide
Solution
Manufacture a Turbo-ICT-VAC with an aperture of 200mm. Working frequency was reduced from 180MHz to 77MHz. The Turbo-ICT needed to provide the same performance than a standard Turbo-ICT
