Our new instrument Turbo-ICT was adopted by SLAC to monitor LCLS-II bunch charge and beam current.
Six units will be distributed along the linac. Every bunch charge will be measured with <10fC resolution. Turbo-ICT will measure charge on-the-fly at 1 MHz repetition rate.
We believe successful installations on other XFEL (SwissFEL, PAL-XFEL..) were instrumental in SLAC’s decision.
